Looking for something a little different? Do you like day-to-day variety in your practice? We are seeking a BC/BE Pediatrician to join us as a “shared physician”, providing coverage for leaves/absences in any of our 34 pediatric primary care offices. This position is essential for providing uninterrupted services to patients across our geography, as well as supplementing the work being done in each practice.

Position Details:

• 4 Day Work Week (Thursday is standard admin day without patient care responsibilities)
• Rare, if any, weekend responsibilities (virtual coverage if any)
• No call responsibilities
• Office Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Average Daily Patient Volume: 22-24 Patients
• Strictly outpatient clinic – no hospital or nursery rounds required
• Practices also include our Virtual Primary Care, School-Based Virtual Care, and Urgent Care Virtual Visit programs, so some telehealth is expected.
• On days where there are no specified coverage needs, the “shared physician” will perform Well Child Visits in practices which need additional access for preventative care, or if the practice desires, the shared physician will provide sick access so that practice providers can increase their WCV access that day
• Patient base is a mix of private and Medicaid patients
• > 2 years of practice experience preferred
