REQUIRED PROCEDURES

    • C-Lines, A-Lines, UVC, UAC

    • Lumbar puncture

    • Paracentesis, Thoracentesis

    • Chest tube insertion

    • Needle pneumothorax, Decompression

    • X-ray interpretation, EKG interpretation

    • PA Catheter, Exchange transfusion

    • Suturing minor lacerations

    • Circumcision (type)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Board: BC/BE

  • Licenses: AL or IMLC

  • Certifications: BLs, ACLS, PALS, NRP

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide newborn care and attend deliveries at the Level I Nursery

  • Stabilize infants requiring higher level of care until transfer to appropriate facility

  • Manage pager call coverage during 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM weekend shifts

  • Handle occasional admissions and phone consults

  • Collaborate with local pediatric practice to ensure continuity of care
