The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Responsibilities:
The Assistant Nurse Manager is accountable for supporting standards of care and providing consultation and expertise in the delivery of patient care. The Assistant Nurse Manager supports activities at the service, nursing practice, and institutional level, and contributes to goal achievement through personal action and the facilitation of others. They participate in community and professional organizations, demonstrating commitment to the promotion of nursing┐s visibility and future. The Assistant Nurse Manager provides expert patient care, serves as a resource, consults as requested, and communicates effectively within the unit and service. They also participate in the management of human resources, the development and evaluation of recruitment and retention strategies, and the monitoring of patient outcomes. The Assistant Nurse Manager may have responsibilities at the unit, program or service level and may assume an expanded role as assigned by the Nurse Manager.

The Golisano Children's Hospital Pediatric Specialty Clinic (AC1/AC6) is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) to join our dedicated leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, collaborative clinic environment dedicated to delivering exceptional care to children with diverse and complex specialty needs. In addition to direct patient care responsibilities, this role will function collaboratively with members of a multidisciplinary leadership team to help improve clinic workflows, efficiencies, and patient care management. This position will also support flow optimization and improvement in patient care clinic needs. Strong communication skills required; must be able to navigate discussions cross-culturally with staff, children, and families. A minimum of 3-5 years demonstrated clinical expertise. BSN required. Pediatric and/or acute care experience preferred.
