Pediatric Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Newark, NJ

$40/Hour | 1:1 Pediatric Home Care | Part-Time

Affirmed Home Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced LPN to provide 1:1 pediatric home care in Newark, NJ.

CASE DETAILS

Location: Newark, NJ 07102

Pay: $40/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–8:00 PM

Care: 1:1 Pediatric Home Care

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Active New Jersey LPN License
• Pediatric nursing experience preferred
• Experience supporting children with behavioral needs or challenging behaviors preferred
• Patient, calm, and dependable approach to care
• Strong communication and clinical skills
• Current BLS Certification
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Authorized to work in the United States

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide safe, compassionate 1:1 pediatric nursing care
• Follow the individualized plan of care
• Monitor and document the client's condition
• Support the child during behavioral challenges
• Communicate with the family and clinical team
• Promote safety, comfort, and well-being

REQUIRED HEALTH & COMPLIANCE DOCUMENTATION

• Physical examination within the past 12 months
• PPD or QuantiFERON within the past 12 months, or chest X-ray within the past 5 years
• Proof of flu vaccination or approved exemption
