Pediatric Pharmacy InternTo fill routine dosage orders and prepackage pharmaceuticals as directed. To measure, mix, count, label, and record amounts of dosages and prescriptions. To train lower level pharmacy technicians and assist pharmacist in the dispensing of prescriptions.
Must be enrolled in an accredited school of pharmacy and actively pursuing a degree and licensure as a pharmacist. Prior experience preferred.
Completion of a pre-employment drug screen required.
Certifications, Licenses or Registration required: N/A
Knowledge of procedures and standards for the labeling and dispensing of prescribed medications. Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications. Verbal and written communication skills. Interpersonal skills. Ability to perform basic supervisory functions. Ability to sort, check, count, and verify numbers.
