
The appointee shall provide services as assigned by the supervisor in furtherance of the university’s missions and goals of teaching, research, patient care, outreach and public service. The duties of this position include: The surgeon is expected to actively participate in the education, research, patient care and administrative programs of the within Pediatric Orthopedics, Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, and the Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation The position actively participates in all aspects of the clinical care of patients as outlined by the Surgeon in Chief for Doernbecher Children’s Hospital and the Chairman of the Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation.
This position reports to (supervisor): Surgeon-in-Chief of Doernbecher Children’s Hospital and Department Chair of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation.
As a member of Doernbecher Children’s Hospital and the OHSU Department of Orthopedics responsibilities and duties are outlined as follows:
Position Conditions/Qualifications: M.D. or equivalent degree/training; completion of an Orthopaedic Surgery Residency; completion of a Pediatric Orthopedic Fellowship. Must be Board Certified, or reach Board Certification approval within one year of hire. Valid Oregon Medical License.
