KidSpeak Speech and Language Services, Inc. is a pediatric private practice located in Charlotte, NC. Since 2001, we have strived to provide the bridge that takes skills learned in therapy into everyday activities. The Position:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will work with children in clinic-based settings to enhance their developmental skills, promote independence, and improve overall quality of life. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify areas of developmental need in children.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and goals based on assessment findings.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care activities.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to care.
• Provide education and support to parents on implementing therapeutic activities at home.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss and coordinate care. Stay current with advancements in pediatric occupational therapy through continuing education and professional development

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current NC state licensure as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist.
• Strong knowledge of developmental milestones and pediatric conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards.
