With both everyday wellness tools and our award-winning online child therapy app, we’ve empowered hundreds of thousands of clients across the country in the healthcare and insurance landscape.

About the Role
We are looking for full-time clinical therapists who want to build a new way of delivering high-quality, evidence-based mental health care to children 0-17. We hire mental health providers who are excited to work at an early-stage startup and impact the accessibility of exceptional behavioral health for children and families.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based tele-therapy via the Little Otter platform to children ages 0-17 years old, parents, and families
  • Conduct evidence-based interventions for children and families including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapies, Exposure Therapy for Anxiety, Parent Management Training (PMT), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Child and Family Psychotherapy (CPP), etc.
  • Complete clinical documentation using the Little Otter platform for each patient including intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans
  • Participate in an optional weekly case review and clinical team meeting

About You:
  • Masters level therapists independently licensed in California, ie.  Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW),  Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors (LPCC)
  • Clinical experience providing psychotherapy to children and families. Demonstrated experience in treating common mental health disorders in children through evidence-based practices
  • Comfortable with technology and interested in incorporating technology solutions into clinical care.
  • Passionate about providing mental health care services to children and families and excited to work at an early-stage startup to impact the way we provide these exceptional virtual services!

Schedule

Flexible schedule built to be mutually beneficial for you and our families
  • 80% of clinical time will be scheduled between 3-8pm PST or on the weekend to accommodate children' s schedules

Compensation:

This role is classified under Zone 1 compensation, based on the therapist’s primary work location.

  • Full-Time 32 hours per week: $70,000 annual base salary (approximately 20 clients/ week)
  • Full-Time 40 hours per week: $85,000 annual base salary (approximately 25 clients/ week)

Additional Income & Clinician-Centered Pay:
Our philosophy is that clinicians should have control over their time, energy, and income, without being pushed into unsustainable workloads. Therapists have the opportunity to take on additional client sessions beyond the 32-hour baseline schedule. Completed sessions beyond the baseline are compensated at $80 per completed session. Additional sessions are optional and availability may vary based on client demand and scheduling needs.

  • 21 sessions / week = $73,904
  • 24 sessions / week = $84,704
  • 27 sessions / week = $95,504
  • 30 sessions / week = $106,304

How Geographic Pay Zones Work:
To support pay transparency and consistency, we use geographic pay zones based on a therapist’s primary work location. Each pay zone has a defined base salary for either a 32-hour or 40-hour work week, as well as a corresponding per-session rate for optional sessions beyond the baseline schedule. Pay zones are applied consistently across the organization and are confirmed prior to extending an offer.

Total Rewards:
  • 100% remote work in the US
