Join Affirmed Home Care's Growing Pediatric Division
Affirmed Home Care is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one skilled nursing care for an 11-year-old male pediatric client in New Britain, CT
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced pediatric LPN who is comfortable caring for medically complex children and has experience with tracheostomy care, G-tube care, Hoyer lift transfers, and seizure management
Current Weekend Opening
Client: 11-year-old male
Location: New Britain, CT
Schedule: Saturday & Sunday
Available Shifts:
- 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Care Needs:
- Cerebral palsy
- Tracheostomy
- G-tube
- Hoyer lift
- Seizure management
- One-on-one pediatric skilled nursing care
Required Experience:
- Pediatric nursing experience
- Tracheostomy and G-tube experience
- Hoyer lift experience
- Seizure management experience
Compensation & Benefits
- LPNs starting at $40.00 per hour

Qualifications
- Active Connecticut LPN license
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum of one year of pediatric nursing experience preferred (home care, hospital, or acute care)
- Experience with tracheostomy and G-tube care required
- Experience with Hoyer lift transfers required
- Pediatric seizure management experience required
- Experience caring for medically complex pediatric patients preferred
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Current physical completed within the last 12 months
- Current TB screening (PPD or QuantiFERON within one year) or chest X-ray, if applicable
