A leading healthcare facility in Dubai is seeking a dedicated and experienced
PICU Nurse
to join its pediatric critical care team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in providing specialized nursing care to critically ill infants and children, with a strong understanding of pediatric intensive care protocols and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-level nursing care to pediatric patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in condition with appropriate clinical interventions.
Administer medications, intravenous therapy, and manage life-support equipment.
Collaborate with pediatricians, intensivists, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Support families by offering clear communication, emotional reassurance, and education on treatment plans and recovery.
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all care provided.
Adhere to hospital protocols, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements.
Participate in emergency response situations and pediatric resuscitation.
Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a PICU or similar pediatric critical care environment.
Valid DHA License (Dubai Health Authority).
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
BLS and PALS certifications are mandatory.
Strong clinical skills, pediatric care knowledge, and ability to manage high-stress situations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly with children and families.
