The Division of Neonatology, Department of Pediatrics at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt (MCJCHV) seeks a BE/BC Pediatric Hospitalist/Newborn Medicine pediatrician. The Neonatology Division is currently comprised of neonatologists, pediatricians, and NNPs who staff a variety of services including the NICU at Monroe Carell, Jr Children’s Hospital, as well as community based NICUs and newborn nurseries.

The Children’s Hospital currently has 363 inpatient beds after the recent completion of two additional floors, making it the largest pediatric hospital in Tennessee.

Qualified applicants must have a medical doctorate in Clinical Pediatrics from an accredited program and hold or be eligible for licensure in the State of Tennessee. Applicants with a clinical focus on Hospital Medicine with special interest and training in delivery room and newborn care will be considered. Competency in circumcision will be necessary. The preferred candidate will demonstrate a track record of excellence in clinical care, graduate medical education or research and possess outstanding leadership skills.
