JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: A-MD-71702 Profession: Physician Specialty: Pediatric Hospitalist Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Williston, ND Service Setting: Inpatient Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: Oct 22, 2026 – Ongoing Shift Schedule: 4a-4p; 10–15 shifts per month Call Schedule: Nights & weekends; 7a-7a Reason for Coverage: Medical Leave DATES OF COVERAGE: Oct 22(4am)-Oct 22(7am) Oct 22(7am)-Nov 1(7am) Nov 1(7am)- Nov 2(4am) PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 2–4 neonates, 1–2 pediatric inpatients per day Admissions Required: Yes Rounding: Included Average Callback: 4-6 per day Case Mix: General Pediatrics, Neonatology FACILITY INFORMATION EMR: Meditech PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Temporary Privileges Available: Yes Credentialing Timeline: Expedited (quick turnaround) REQUIRED PROCEDURES Newborn delivery attendance and neonatal care Pediatric patient admissions from ER Daily rounding on admitted pediatric patients Management of inpatient pediatric conditions 24-hour in‑house call coverage JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics Licenses: Active ND license or IMLC with LOQ DEA: Active DEA certification Certifications: BLS, PALS, NRP Malpractice – Clean [Highly Preferred] will look at dismissed cases Duties & Responsibilities Provide comprehensive inpatient pediatric hospitalist coverage including 24‑hour call. Attend newborn deliveries and provide neonatal care for all births. Admit pediatric patients from the Emergency Department and manage their care. Perform daily rounds on admitted pediatric patients, adjusting treatment plans as needed. Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure high‑quality patient care.
