Job Description

BayCare Medical Group, Tampa Bay’s leading multispecialty group, is looking to add a seventh Pediatric Hematologist Oncologist position to its team based out of St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida The position is a full time clinical position caring for the entire spectrum of pediatric patients with both hematologic and oncologic disorders in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 – 5 years of experience post-fellowship (preferred but not required). Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Hematology Oncology, eligible for unrestricted Florida Medical License.

Our division includes 5 full time Board Certified Pediatric Hematology-Oncology physicians, one part time Board Certified Pediatric Hematology-Oncology physician, and two mid-level providers (soon to be three). Our multidisciplinary team includes 6 nurse coordinators/navigators, CRAs, a dedicated Pharm D in our clinic, case managers, a registered dietician, social workers and child-life specialist. Our office, clinic, infusion center, inpatient unit, and day hospital are all conveniently located within the Children’s hospital. We are an Accredited Hemophilia Treatment Center. We also have a Comprehensive Sickle Cell Program and Long Term Survivorship Program. We are highly active in COG and have collaborations with early Phase consortiums and pharmaceutical companies.

Qualifications
