Job Description

The Division of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at Hasbro Children’s is a vibrant and collaborative team of dedicated clinicians, educators, and researchers committed to providing comprehensive, compassionate, and cutting-edge care to children and adolescents with cancer and blood disorders. The division includes nine board-certified pediatric hematologist-oncologists, six advanced practice providers, nurses, social workers, psychologists, and child life specialists, all working together to support patients and families through diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship. The division supports a thriving fellowship program with three fellows.

Clinical programs include a multidisciplinary pediatric oncology service, robust non-malignant hematology practice and long-term follow-up care for childhood cancer survivors.Additionally, the division provides leadership and clinical expertise for pediatric and adult patients in the Brown Health Hemostasis and Thrombosis Center as well as the Comprehensive Sickle Cell Center. The division also leads and participates in regional and national clinical trials through the Children’s Oncology Group, Dana Farber ALL Consortium and others including early phase trials. Hematology clinical trials are extensive comprising both bleeding disorders and national and international sickle cell disease studies lead by our faculty. The division maintains active collaborations with translational and clinical researchers at Legorreta Cancer Center of Brown University and affiliated institutions.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Board certification in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology

• Eligibility for appointment at the rank of Associate or Full Professor at Brown University

• Demonstrated excellence in clinical care, teaching, and scholarship

• Prior leadership experience and a strong record of mentoring faculty

• National reputation and scholarly accomplishments appropriate for a senior academic position.
