
CHRISTUS Children's, a world-class 240-bed freestanding children's hospital in San Antonio, serves as a focal point for pediatric services throughout the community. In 2013, CHRISTUS Health finalized an agreement partnering with Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) to recruit, employ, and oversee physicians and advanced practice providers at CHRISTUS Children's.

Baylor College of Medicine Division of Pediatric General Surgery has an opening for a full-time NP or PA position at CHRISTUS Children's. Working in a high-volume and patient-oriented clinic, this position will be responsible for the management of patients with pediatric acute and general surgical conditions under the direct supervision of pediatric BCM general surgeons. This position comes with a faculty appointment, a competitive salary, and a full benefits package.
Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, monitoring, promoting health and protection from disease, and managing illnesses and injuries of stable, complex acute and chronically ill pediatric patients. Assess, stabilize, and determine disposition of patients with emergent conditions consistent with medical staff policy regarding emergency and consultative call services.
