
The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Pediatrics, is seeking an outstanding academic pediatric gastroenterologist with interest and expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of motility disorders to join the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology.
The physician in this position is expected to care for patients with the entire spectrum of gastrointestinal motility disorders, as well as disorders of gut-brain interaction and those resulting from congenital disease such as Hirschsprung and imperforate anus. Collegial and collaborative multidisciplinary programs are currently active in these disorders. An interest in team science/clinical research is preferred, and excellence in teaching of medical students, residents and fellows is expected.
Applicants must be eligible for medical licensure in the state of Texas and be board eligible or certified in Pediatric Gastroenterology.
