
Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek a candidate for an Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of a clinical focus in foot and ankle pathology. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D/Ph.D or equivalent degree. Candidate must demonstrate excellent qualifications and clinical care and must be board certified/board eligible by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Rank will be commensurate with experience.
Teaching responsibilities may include participation in the clinical education of medical students, residents and fellows.
Clinical responsibilities may include providing outpatient and inpatient consultative services to patients.
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include clinical or othopaedic basic science research and will be dependent on the candidate's interests and independent support.
Evidence of scholarship is required for the Clinician Educator track. Mid-career applicants are encouraged. Rank will be commensurate with experience.
