YesThe Pediatric Endocrinology Department of the Janet Weis Children’s Hospital at Geisinger Medical Center has an opening for a full-time Pediatric Endocrinologist. Our extremely collegial and congenial group is committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to the children of central and northeast Pennsylvania.
The Janet Weis Children’s Hospital is the tertiary care Pediatric Center for Geisinger Health System. Nationally recognized for its innovative approaches to health care.
In addition to a challenging and enjoyable clinical role, the successful candidate will also be actively engaged in the teaching of pediatric residents and medical students. Geisinger has an exciting intellectual environment highlighted by the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine in Scranton, PA. The medical school is a leader in innovative education, with a curriculum emphasizing active learning, longitudinal clinical experiences, and community engagement.

Job Duties:

  • Schedule: M-F, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Balance of annual call shared equally by the physician/APP call group
  • AI dictation
  • 41 bed NICU
  • 14 bed PICU
  • 36 beds in Children's Hospital
  • Admitting service

Education:

Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine- (Required)
