Job Description

Job Title: Pediatric Dentistry Consultant (Pedodontics / Pediatric Dentist / Pediatric Dental Consultant)

Location: Taif, Saudi Arabia
Department: Dentistry

Opportunity:

Join one of Saudi Arabia's most prestigious hospitals as a Pediatric Dentistry Consultant (Pedodontics) This top‑tier role offers the chance to deliver advanced pediatric dental care, supervise trainees, and contribute to teaching and research in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat oral health conditions in children, including pulp therapy, space maintenance, interceptive orthodontics, and preventive treatments (sealants, oral hygiene education).
  • Perform pediatric dental rehabilitation under general anesthesia and manage oral trauma cases.
  • Deliver care for medically compromised and special‑needs pediatric patients.
  • Supervise fellows, residents, dental hygienists, and assistant physicians.
  • Participate in academic teaching, research, outreach programs, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to departmental committees and administrative functions.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree (PhD, DDSc) or Board Certification in Pediatric Dentistry / Pedodontics (Saudi, American, European, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 3–4 years post‑Board/Fellowship experience in Pediatric Dentistry / Pedodontics
  • Certificate recognized by the Saudi Commission (Dataflow required).
  • Positive professional references.

Language Requirements:

  • Proficiency in English (mandatory).
  • Additional proficiency in Arabic preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong clinical expertise in pediatric dental procedures and preventive care.
  • Effective communication and leadership in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Computer proficiency preferred.
