The Division of Pediatric General Surgery in the Department of Surgery at Stanford University seeks a full-time board certified (or eligible) pediatric surgeon to join the Department as an Assistant, Associate or full Professor in the Medical Center Line.
Faculty rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have an interest and skills in surgical critical care. We expect the successful candidates to participate in a diverse and busy clinical service, participate in the education and curriculum of the residencies in General and Pediatric Surgery, and contribute to the scholarly activities of the Division. Additionally, individuals with an interest and ability to lead programmatic development in education, clinical and translational research, or a clinical program of excellence are encouraged to apply. The successful applicant must have an M.D. degree and be board certified (or eligible) in Pediatric Surgery and Critical Care. A strong interest in surgical education and excellent clinical skills are required. In addition to clinical expertise and a commitment to teaching, the successful candidate will have demonstrated an interest in scholarly achievement in the area of clinical research.
