
Join a highly specialized Pediatric Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) team delivering advanced surgical care to pediatric cardiac patients. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced surgeons and interdisciplinary teams in a collaborative, high-acuity environment.

Perform preoperative patient assessments and prepare pediatric patients for cardiovascular surgery
Provide patient and family education regarding procedures and perioperative care
Administer medications, initiate IV therapy, and verify surgical site and readiness
Participate in surgical safety protocols including time-outs, briefings, and debriefings
Monitor patient condition throughout procedures and respond to emergencies
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care using evidence-based practices
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and surgical team members
Document patient care, interventions, and clinical changes accurately
Support continuous quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Required
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN required within 24 months of hire)
Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience
Pediatric experience required
Experience with post–cardiac surgery patients
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
ACLS and PALS certifications within 60 days of hire
Preferred
Experience in pediatric CVOR, PICU, or cardiac ICU settings
Children’s hospital experience
Background in NICU, PICU, or mother-baby units
