
The Power Systems Engineer is responsible for applying advanced electrical engineering expertise to the design, implementation, and support of power system automation and protection solutions. This role requires strong knowledge of electrical power systems and demonstrated experience using industry-standard tools such as PSSE, ETAP, and/or RTDS. The ideal candidate will work closely with customers to deliver high-quality solutions while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, accuracy, and efficiency. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Possess, understand, and apply fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures within a power systems focus area and related SEL products. Train and assist customers in the creation, design, configuration, validation, installation, commissioning, and operation of automation and/or protection systems. Complete assigned work within agreed-upon scope, schedule, and budget while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Participate in the preparation of functional design specifications. Prepare and maintain detailed design documents, reports, checklists, test reports, and other deliverables. Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles. Embrace and demonstrate the mindset: Understand. Create. Simplify. Perform other duties as assigned.

The salary range for this position is $97,000-$140,000 per year. This position is eligible for the following benefits: medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k); ESOP; paid time off; and paid holidays.
