We are currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Finance Team Leader to join our team:

  • Location: Heredia, Costa Rica

  • Work schedule: Monday to Friday (8:00 am to 5:00 pm)

  • Work model: Hybrid

  • Contract Type: Indefinite-term

Responsibilities:

  • Manage stakeholder relationships and governance with PDS clients across LatAm and US regions, serving as primary point of escalation for all PDS Property Managers and ensuring timely resolution of complex issues.

  • Oversee accounts payable operations and billing processes to ensure invoices are processed on time and accurately per quality parameters, payments are processed due-date, and all billings are completed timely and accurately across all regions.

  • Collaborate with PDS Finance teams and SAER Operations to ensure all financial information, tasks, and system access are performed according to JLL policies and standards, including proper documentation and compliance with regional requirements.

  • Manage and report on KPIs, SLAs, OLAs, and quality metrics; provide comprehensive reports on customer operations by region; and analyze information across different systems to issue consolidated reports for management decision-making.

  • Drive continuous process improvements and standardization initiatives; maintain timely updates to all documentation including Process Maps, SOPs, and BCP/RCM; perform sample quality checks; and support management in specific strategic projects.

  • Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members; manage employee onboarding processes; monitor team productivity and workload distribution; and ensure adequate resource allocation to meet operational demands.

  • Conduct performance reviews and deliver constructive feedback; hold regular 1-1 meetings with team members for coaching, mentorship, and guidance on complex work challenges to meet team KPIs and quality metrics consistently.

  • Facilitate career path discussions and create individual development plans; manage succession planning; promote formal training programs; develop team capabilities; and build technical and functional expertise across the team.

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • Finance/accounting degree (required)

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance operations, accounts payable, or related financial processes (required)

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a team lead, supervisor, or coordinator role (required)

  • Experience in multinational companies, preferably with LatAm and US regional exposure (desired)

  • Experience with property management or real estate finance operations (desired)

  • Experience with Certinia (formerly FinancialForce) or similar PSA systems (desired)

Language Skills:

  • English proficiency: Advanced level (required)

  • Spanish proficiency: Advanced level (desired)

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (required)

  • Proficiency in accounting ERP systems (required)

  • Experience with Certinia/FinancialForce platform (highly desired)

  • Experience with JDE or similar enterprise systems (desired)

  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable and billing processes (required)
