Job Description

The PDM Administrator will play a crucial role in managing and implementing product development and services. You will collaborate with various teams, including Hardware and Software Engineering, to align market strategies and ensure effective communication. Your responsibilities will involve product data management, developing custom queries, and adapting tools to support product structures. This role requires a strong technical background and experience with digital configuration management tools.

  • Managed and coordinated the development and implementation of products and services without direct ownership of product development activities.
  • Supported NPI (New Product Introduction) and sustaining engineering initiatives across NI Routing Product lines.
  • Developed custom SQL/Sequel queries to support evolving change management and engineering processes.
  • Implemented data models and maintained BOM (Bill of Materials) health using proactive leading indicators.
  • Led engineering change activities, including ECOs, MCOs, and Stop Orders, ensuring timely execution and compliance.
  • Collaborated closely with Hardware, Software Engineering, and Product Line Management teams to align market exit strategies.
  • Created, documented, and improved workflow processes related to engineering and configuration changes.
  • Implemented digital configuration management tools and enhanced product structure support across engineering lifecycle phases.

You have:

Bachelor’s Degree 7-15 years of relevant Minimum of 4 years of experience in configuration management or change control.

Proficiency in programming languages: C#, JavaScript, and SQL.

Experience with digital configuration management tools, such as Agile and Aras Innovator

Strong knowledge of MS Office suite tools.

It would be nice if you also had:

Ability to create and document workflow processes.

Experience in implementing digital configuration management tools in engineering lifecycles.

Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
