Complete New Employee Orientation within 60 days from date of hire.
Works assigned schedule directed by the consumer.
Demonstrates strong time management skills and is on time for scheduled work appointments
Adheres to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) privacy policies and procedures. Maintain confidentiality of all information pertaining to clients, families and employees.
Follows standards for health and safety according to the Ascentria “Consumer Site and Home Safety Checklist”.
Works within the approved hours without overages.
Demonstrates and utilizes proper use of phone-in timecard system.
Communicates with supervisor in a timely manner (within 24 hours) regarding both consumer and administrative issues.
Attends scheduled meetings with Regional Care Coordinator.
Completes all required trainings by deadlines with minimal supervision.
Attends annual In-Home Care Appreciation Event.
Demonstrated ability to deal with conflict and/or difficult situations by executing proper interpersonal skills and de-escalation techniques.
Demonstrates on a daily basis a full understanding of Ascentria’s Ethic’s Statement
Demonstrates clear understanding of professional boundaries at all times according to Ascentria training.
