Job Description

Our client, a established provider of printed circuit board (PCB) solutions, is seeking a Customer Engineering Coordinator to serve as the technical liaison between their customers, sales team, and fabrication partners. This is a direct hire opportunity offering long-term stability with a growing organization.

About the Role

In this position, you will be the technical backbone of the customer order process, owning the workflow from quote review through production release. You'll review documentation packages, coordinate with fabrication facilities, manage engineering inquiries, and ensure every project's specialized requirements are clearly communicated and executed. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical puzzles, thrives on coordination across multiple stakeholders, and takes pride in keeping projects moving cleanly from start to finish.

What You'll Do

Customer Quotations

• Review incoming documentation packages for accuracy and completeness
• Extract basic design rules and complete internal quote forms
• Highlight specialized design rules and requirements for fabrication partners
• Determine panelized array needs and recommend the appropriate fabrication facility
• Prepare fabrication drawings and related documents for the project folder

Customer Orders

• Confirm the most current revision of documentation is sent to the fabrication facility
• Coordinate pre-production engineering and CAM processes with fabrication partners
• Communicate special project requirements (x-outs, packaging, labeling, quality documentation, Certificates of Conformance, etc.)
• Serve as the central point of contact for all technical communication, keeping Sales and Inside Sales informed throughout

Engineering Questions (EQs)

• Review all EQs received from fabrication facilities
• Relay EQs to customers and track each one through to resolution
• Maintain a clear tracking system for open EQs until production release
• Release orders to production once EQs are resolved and notify Sales accordingly
• Maintain thorough records of all project-related communication and documentation

Special Requirements & DFM

• Coordinate specialized technical requirements across the customer, fabrication facility, and internal teams
• Manage deliverables such as panel array approvals and check-plots
• Support Design for Manufacturing (DFM) efforts between all stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• Experience in PCB fabrication, customer engineering, or a related technical coordination role
• Strong ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and documentation packages
• Excellent organizational skills with a track record of managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
• Clear, professional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and follow-through
