
This is a benefit-eligible, full-time position (72 hours every 2 weeks), working 12-hour night shifts and located at Scripps Green Hospital in Torrey Pines.

The ideal candidate will be someone who demonstrates a high level of compassion for their patients, and a strong desire to develop relationships and create connections. Working in our Bone Marrow Transplant department, you will assist with daily patient care, routinely checking vital signs, and ambulating patients. A high level of attention to infection control will be key as all patients are immune-suppressed. On this 24 bed unit, the department will see an average of 15 – 18 patients while the Patient Care Assistant will be assigned to an average of 8 patients per day.
