Schedule & Compensation

  • 48 hours bi-weekly
  • 9am - 4pm
  • Includes every other weekend
  • $15.50/hour

This position works both as a Lifestyle Enrichment Professional and PCA (Personal Care Aide). Responsibilities include:

  • Assists residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
  • Assists residents in preparing for and transporting to and from medical appointments, activities, and social programs.
  • Checks residents' vital signs, measures weight and height, and records data as instructed; reports any variances to the Charge Nurse.
  • Answers resident call lights promptly to attend to needs; frequently checks those who are unable to call for help.
  • Assists residents to walk with or without self-help devices, as instructed.
  • Assists the Lifestyle Enrichment Coordinator with the development and execution of the activity calendars with flexible scheduling for coverage, to include evening and weekend hours as assigned.
  • Provides on-going Lifestyle Enrichment (group and self-directed).

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or its equivalent required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Minimum one year of Activities preferred
  • Professional experience with geriatric residents in a Personal Care Home preferred.
