A large regional utility provider serving over 1.1 million electric customers and 800,000 natural gas customers is seeking two PC Technicians to support enterprise-wide hardware refresh and memory upgrade initiatives. One technician will focus on hardware refresh activities, including device imaging, data migration, and workstation deployments, while the other will be responsible for RAM replacement, involving system disassembly, memory upgrades, and device reassembly. The ideal candidate will have experience with hardware refresh projects, system migrations, and hands-on desktop hardware support. This is an on-site position based in Bothell and Bellevue, WA.
Basic Function/Responsibilities:
Tier 2 Hardware and software support for remote and internal employees through remote access, phone or desk side visit
Tier 1/Tier 2 Hardware and software support for lab computers
Create work orders in a help desk system, dispatch work orders to other support technicians and IT groups
Assess and escalate serious or unusual problems to the appropriate IT group for resolution
Windows 10 and 11 Support in a network environment
Diagnose and support hardware failures, operating system, application issues and network connectivity
Provide work order status reports and metrics to management
Monitor help desk workload and prioritize work orders effectively
Develop, test and implement solutions to problems detected during troubleshooting
Assess training needs and develop new training or self-help materials
Manage user accounts and phone accounts
Follow standard operating procedures, create and revise documentation as needed
Mobile device support including set up, deployment and support
Update inventory records for end users, hardware and software
Monitor, diagnose, repair and run preventative maintenance on computers
Provide in depth customer training and training materials
Hardware and software ordering
Working with other team member on projects
Ordering computing peripherals
Working with vendors

This is a Contract position based out of Bellevue, WA.
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
