Job Description

Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

Position Summary:

Responsible for providing day-to-day technical support to employees for a range of hardware and software related systems. Responds to and diagnoses problems through discussion with users, which includes trouble shooting, fault rectification and problem escalation. Provides effective and timely resolution of users’ problems, queries or complaints. Assists in hardware and software evaluation and recommends upgrades or improvements to IT infrastructure.

Major Responsibilities:

• Screen, refer, and diagnose internal inquiries and work requests related to personal computers and related systems.
• Troubleshoot issues, rectify faults, and escalate problems when required.
• Provide effective and timely resolution of user problems, queries, or complaints.
• Assist with help desk incident reports and hardware or software evaluation.
• Recommend upgrades or improvements to IT infrastructure.
• Support internal and external clients for company-hosted web-enabled solutions, as applicable.

Required Education / Experience / Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in Technical Support, Help Desk, Service Desk, or a similar role.
• Experience providing hardware and software support to end users.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting and diagnosing computer hardware, software, and related systems.
• Experience with hardware and software installation, configuration, and support.
• Ability to troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate technical issues as needed.
• Experience managing and following up on Help Desk tickets and incident reports.
• General knowledge of IT infrastructure and ability to identify potential upgrades or improvements.
• Strong customer service, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Language: Spanish; English reading proficiency.
• Travel: Approximately 5%.
