P&C Projects and Data Specialist

The Opportunity

Downer's Energy & Utilities business is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented P&C Projects and Data Specialist to join our People & Culture team.

Reporting to the Projects, Remuneration and Data Governance Manager, this role plays an important part in supporting People & Culture projects, workforce data governance, audit activities, service awards and AI-enabled initiatives across the business.

Working closely with People & Culture, Business Services Centre, Technology and operational stakeholders, you will help ensure workforce data is accurate, well-governed and supports informed decision-making.

This is an exciting opportunity for a P&C Professional who enjoys combing project coordination, stakeholder engagement and data-focused work while contributing to a large, leading infrastructure organisation.

What You'll Do

• Participate and support as a BU Representative on People & Culture related projects with activities as action tracking, project readiness and stakeholder engagement.
• Support workforce data governance, data quality reviews and remediation activities.
• Assist with audits, compliance checks, evidence gathering and remediation tracking.
• Coordinate the Service Awards program and associated communications.
• Support AI-enabled People & Culture initiatives through data validation, governance monitoring and stakeholder engagement.

What We're Looking For

• Qualification in Human Resources or equivalent preferred
• Proven work experience in Human Resources supporting People & Culture processes, data, reporting or HR operations.
• Familiar with the application of HR frameworks on Job architecture, Job classification and remuneration.
• Strong attention to detail with experience managing workforce or employee data.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with spreadsheets, trackers and data extracts.
• Ability to coordinate multiple priorities while engaging effectively with a range of stakeholders.
• A proactive, professional and service-focused approach with a commitment to confidentiality and governance.
