Job Description

Are you passionate about creating a positive employee experience and supporting a safe, highperforming workplace?

Were looking for a proactive and peoplefocused P&C Officer to join our Wacol team. In this role, youll provide hands-on HR support across the full employee lifecycle, act as a trusted advisor to leaders, and help drive employee engagement and compliance across our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate HRIS records and process all employee lifecycle transactions, including onboarding, role changes and offboarding
  • Generate key HR reports to support workforce insights and operational decision-making
  • Coordinate and maintain employee recognition programs
  • Respond to employee queries regarding policies, procedures, entitlements, rosters and payroll timelines
  • Provide HR updates at operational meetings and support internal/external audits with accurate documentation
  • Conduct daily welfare checks and ensure absenteeism data is correctly maintained
  • Deliver HR induction sessions and support new employees through the onboarding experience
  • Monitor probation, training milestones and complete offboarding activities including exit interviews
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee relations issues and conduct confidential investigations
  • Prepare investigation documentation and support leaders in implementing outcomes or improvement plans
  • Coach supervisors in people management, team dynamics and early conflict resolution

About You

  • 2+ years of HR experience, ideally in FMCG, manufacturing or logistics
  • Strong understanding of Australian employment law and WHS requirements
  • Experience using HRIS systems (SuccessFactors, Kronos desirable)
  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and conflictresolution skills
  • Able to analyse HR data to identify trends and recommend improvements
  • Highly organised, detailoriented and able to work effectively under pressure
