  • Grow with backing. Learning, leadership support and global opportunity.
  • Flexibility that fits. Blended working, wellbeing support and great benefits.

At TAL, you’ll do work that matters in a business with real purpose. You’ll be part of a values-led organisation backed by global strength, while still working in an environment where people know your name, support your growth and trust you to make an impact. From blended working and wellbeing initiatives to learning programs, career mobility, employer-funded and discounted insurance, and additional leave options, TAL gives you more than a job — it gives you the support, flexibility and opportunity to build a career with meaning.

This is a leadership role with breadth, impact and real influence. As People & Culture Consulting Manager, you’ll lead a multidisciplinary team across employee relations, operational safety and wellbeing, while partnering closely with leaders and People & Culture stakeholders across TAL. You’ll bring together technical expertise, sound judgement and people leadership to help ensure workplace matters are handled fairly, consistently and with care. Just as importantly, you’ll help uplift leader capability, strengthen the people experience and drive smarter, more sustainable ways of working across the function.

In this role you will:

  • Own and manage complex employee relations matters end-to-end, providing clear, expert advice across performance, misconduct and investigations.
  • Oversee operational safety, wellbeing and workers’ compensation, ensuring incidents and claims are managed effectively while building a strong, proactive safety culture.
  • Partner with leaders and P&C stakeholders to deliver practical, people-first solutions aligned to business priorities and change initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement across systems and processes (including ServiceNow), using data and insights to uplift P&C service delivery and outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading teams and building capability, creating a culture that is inclusive, accountable and high performing.
  • Strong expertise in employee relations, confidently managing complex matters with sound judgement and a fair, consistent approach.
  • Solid knowledge of employment legislation, WHS and workers’ compensation, with the ability to apply it in real-world, practical ways.
  • Confident stakeholder partner, able to influence, guide and support leaders through sensitive and business-critical people matters.
  • Data-led and solutions-focused, with a drive to improve systems, processes and ways of working to deliver better outcomes.
