ING Hubs Romania offers 130 services in software development, data management, non-financial risk & compliance, audit, and retail operations to 24 ING units worldwide, with the help of over 2000 high-performing engineers, risk, and operations professionals.

The Mission

TARDIS squad enables the data journey between origination and consumption forCTOMT members (and affiliates) to have access to qualitative, up to date data insights in PowerBI Dashboardsby working efficiently with highly skilled engineers, employing the latest technologies available in ING. 

Your day to day

Even ifyou’llstart your day from the comfort of your home or drink your morning coffee in ouroffice’sgarden, your day will be quite similar when it comes to tasks. Here are your daily responsibilities:

  • Responsible for building high performant models, reports and dashboards inPowerBI for CTO.

  • Understand business requirements to make sure that the reports and dashboards are fulfilling the stakeholders’ needs

  • Using Agile SCRUM principles to deliver, maintain and extend theproduct we provide.

  • Proactive in formulating and managing processes and standards, as we are working in a global context

  • Proactive in identifying potential risks and issues, which will cause deviations from global standards and impact the performance of the reports

  • Up to date with the latest industry standards and trendsin the area ofData Management and Business Intelligence

  • Report on the progress and communicate the dependencies and impediments

What you’ll bring to the team

  • Experiencemore than5years

  • 5+ Years of experience as BI Developer, building data models, reports and dashboards

  • Experience in dealing with large quantities of data (and performance tuning)

  • Very goodMSPower BIknowledge and experience withMS SQLis a must

  • Good background knowledge of modelling and ETL Tooling so that you can understand the whole context

  • DWH experience would be considered a plus

  • Strong technical background on data and reporting

  • You have experience with the testing process – good understanding of the different types of testing (progression, non-regression, INT, UAT), can elaborate test scenarios in support of INT/UAT and can perform testing if necessary.

  • Agile – Scrum methodology experience

  • In Banking Techindustry is considered a plus

  • Tech stack/ knowledge:

  • Mandatory Microsoft stack (Power BI,SSAS, SSIS, SQL),database concepts, data modelling, database design, data analysis, reporting and performancetuning

  • Nice to haveAI enthusiast, affinity for IT/Tech

  • Soft skills:

  • You have strong communication, presentation, networking and influencing skills.

  • You are a self-starter with a good ability to learn new content quickly and transfer it.

  • Consulting mindset including an ability to think about Data Management in a way that is abstracted from how business functions currently operate.

  • You share and adhere to the ING values of honesty, prudence and responsibility.

  • You actively seek help and feedback but are also not afraid to give feedback.

  • You are comfortableworkingin an ever-changing environment and can inspire others to apply problem solving solutions when dealing with challenges.

  • You are an energetic & approachable professional.

  • Foreign languages English (advanced) -Mandatory

  • Education Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in an Economic or IT related field
