We're partnering with a growing organization looking for an experienced Payroll & Billing Specialist to join their team on a contract basis. Core duties and responsibilities include:

• Process full-cycle, multi-state payroll accurately and on time
• Manage client billing and generate invoices based on timekeeping data
• Handle accounts receivable, collections, and billing discrepancies
• Ensure payroll compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Reconcile payroll and billing records and assist with month-end activities
• Partner with HR and Accounting to maintain accurate payroll and billing data

Required skills and qualifications:

• 3+ years of multi-state payroll experience
• 3+ years of billing and accounts receivable experience
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks
• Strong knowledge of payroll compliance and regulations
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with exceptional attention to detail

Preferred:

• Staffing industry or high-volume payroll experience
• Experience with timekeeping systems and client invoicing
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Compensation:

The Hourly range for this position is from $27 to $35, depending on experience.
