We’re looking for Payroll Support Officers to join our team in a Full Time permanent capacity to be based at our Macquarie Park corporate office — someone who values teamwork, growth and making a difference.

🧭 About the Role

As a Payroll Support Officer with us, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our team. You'll be responsible for supporting the Head of Payroll and Payroll Accountant across processes for superannuation payments, portable LSL (long service leave) payments and claims and the required reporting arrangements.

🔧 What You’ll Do

• Preparing and upload super file to clearing house, then organize the payment
• Checking and re-banking the returned super
• Reconcile and process portable LSL levy payment and claims
• Process month end processing tasks
• Creation of new job/task and positions as requested by payroll operation team or finance team

• Prepare and run the ad hoc reports as requested.

🎯 What We’re Looking For

• A friendly, customer-focused approach with strong communication skills.
• Proven experience in payroll across both blue- and white-collar employees.
• Sound understanding of awards, enterprise agreements, and payroll legislation.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with confident decision-making.
• Experience using payroll systems such as CHRIS21/iCHRIS or similar systems

Strong candidates will present with:

• Previous experience with high volume timesheet processing
• Intermediate to advanced skills with Excel (formulas, pivot tables and macros)
• Experience working with Kronos/UKG
