Core duties and responsibilities include:
• Supervise and mentor Payroll Analysts while ensuring accuracy and quality control
• Lead payroll tax reporting, audits, W-2/FICA analysis, and compliance activities
• Research and resolve complex payroll, tax, and accounting issues
• Improve payroll processes, procedures, and system efficiencies
• Ensure compliance with federal and multi-state wage & hour laws
• Support audits, payroll reporting, quarter/year-end balancing, and banking transactions
• Partner with internal teams to support payroll system implementations and upgrades
Required skills and qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 7+ years of payroll processing experience
• Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations, benefits, and automated payroll systems
• Supervisory experience with team leadership and employee development
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred
• Excellent analytical, communication, and customer service skills
Compensation:
The Hourly range for this position is from $35 to $40/hr, depending on experience.
