AsaPayrollSpecialist I,you’llplay an integral role in supporting payroll processing intheWorkdayERP,assistingemployeeswithpayroll-relatedquestionsandhelping toidentifyopportunities to maximize efficienciesand contribute tomeaningful payrollprojects
Responsibilities
•Help processbiweekly andweeklypayroll for45,000 employeesin Workday
•Review payroll data for completeness and accuracy, ensuring compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local regulations
•Support payroll processing activities including off-cycle payments, retroactive adjustments, and final pay calculations
•Answer payroll related questions in Service Now, email and Slack, providing professional and timely customer service
•Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll and personal information while adhering to data privacy standards
•Participate in Workday system testing, process improvements, and the implementation of new payroll functionality as needed, while documenting payroll procedures and maintaining accurate process documentation
Qualifications
•1+year experience with payroll processing required
•Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting strict payroll deadlines
•Ability to collaborate and provide support in a team environment while demonstrating strong communication and customer service skill s
•Knowledge of federal and state tax and wage and hour laws
•Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
•Workday experience preferred
