💡 Role Purpose:
We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist for a fixed term contract of 6 months within our People Operations team. You will be responsible for the outsourced processing of our UK and Lithuania payrolls, and working with ourEOR partner in five additional European countries.
This is a hands-on, individual contributor role that requires someone who is extremely detail oriented, can work to tight deadlines, and will develop and value relationships with both internal and external partners. Your role is pivotal in ensuring our team members are paid on an accurate and timely basis, and that any queries are dealt with quickly and efficiently.

🔑 What you’ll be doing:
Payroll Processing
- Work closely with our payroll providers (CloudPay, Grant Thornton) to ensure accurate and timely end-to-end payroll processing for employees in the UK and Lithuania.
- Process starters, leavers and contractual changes.
- Calculate holiday pay, SMP, SPP and SSP.
- Complete P45s, P60s and P11Ds.
- Manage auto-enrolment activities.
Compliance Assurance
- Stay up to date with HMRC regulations, ensuring payroll activities adhere to legal requirements.
Data Integrity
- Assist in maintaining accurate and updated employee records, managing changes in employment status, new hires and terminations.
Pay-rolled Benefits Administration
- Handle pay-rolling of employee benefits, including pension schemes and other deductions, ensuring consistency.
Employee Queries
- Address payroll-related queries and concerns promptly, providing clear and concise guidance to remote and on-site employees.
Collaborative Support
- Coordinate closely with People and Finance teams, ensuring seamless information flow and accuracy of payroll data and supporting annual audits.
🧠 What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience running payrolls across multiple geographies, including strong working knowledge of UK payroll regulations.
- Experience working with outsourced payroll providers and managing payroll processes through third-party partners.
- Demonstrable knowledge of auto-enrolment.
- Strong attention to detail, with a track record of maintaining payroll accuracy and data integrity.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and external payroll providers.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence handling payroll-related queries.
- Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership and deliver with minimal supervision.
- Ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality.
- Previous experience working with CloudPay and/or HiBob is advantageous.
- Knowledge of global payroll practices would be beneficial.
