As a Payroll Specialist on our Global Finance team, you will report directly to the Regional Payroll Supervisor and play a key role in ensuring smooth, accurate, and compliant payroll operations across our global footprints (Americas, EMEA, and APAC).
You won't just process numbers; you will partner with HR and Finance, leverage modern cloud systems, and help us scale our internal controls in a fast-paced, high-growth FinTech environment.
Key Responsibilities
Global Payroll Execution: Prepare and process multi-region semi-monthly and monthly payrolls, collaborating closely with external regional payroll providers.
Cross-Functional Data Alignment: Partner with People Operations (HR) and Finance to ensure 100% accuracy in employee data, including new hires, terminations, promotions, variable compensation, and equity updates.
Equity & Tax Compliance: Accurately record stock-based compensation activity in employee pay profiles and ensure timely tax withholdings and remittances to local authorities.
Audits & Internal Controls: Support annual statutory audits, internal compliance, and Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) testing by maintaining clear documentation and robust internal control environments.
Financial Operations & Month-End: Assist with expense report reviews (Expensify), employee record maintenance in NetSuite, and participate in month-end/quarter-end/year-end closing procedures.
Systems & Tools: Practical experience with cloud ERPs ( NetSuite preferred) and major payroll engines ( ADP Workforce Now, ADP Celergo, or similar global vendors).
Regulatory Knowledge: Solid foundation in labor law, social security, and local tax compliance for key jurisdictions. Basic understanding of internal controls (SOX).
Communication & Language: Professional fluency in English (written and spoken) is required, as it is our global working language.
Mindset: Proactive problem solver, obsessed with accuracy and confidential data handling, comfortable navigating dynamic environments.
