A DAY IN THE LIFE

Responsible for accurately processing weekly, multi-state payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees. Collaborates to maintain the payroll databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data. Coordinates work processes that require a thorough working knowledge of payroll/human resource information systems, accounting functions, and payroll processes.

STEP INTO THE ROLE

• Reviews payroll registers for accuracy.
• Assists with time export from time collection system to payroll system.
• Reviews rate changes and on call pay information.
• Reviews entries for weather day per diems, and bonuses.
• Enters and maintains child support and garnishment orders.
• Collaborates with Senior Payroll Specialists on processing duties including preparing reports to departments regarding payroll, company budgets, and expenses.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Associate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with exposure to tax laws, unions, and payroll regulations for multi-state and multi-company payroll.

$24.46 - $33.64 Individual Compensation to be determined based on the applicant's applicable experience and qualifications balanced against internal equity.
