The company offers the opportunity to those who wish to express interest in the position of " Payroll Specialist | Ειδικός Μισθοδοσίας" for its premises in Thessaloniki. The position will report to the Payroll & Benefits Manager of the Human Resources & Payroll department, based in Thessaloniki.

Main Responsibilities:

• Management and execution of monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legislation, internal policies, and group SOX controls.
• Monitoring and recording of data (attendance, leave, sickness or maternity records, working hours, employee data changes, etc.), ensuring the full update of employee files and systems.
• Review and submission of files to authorities within the required deadlines (FMY, APD, etc.).
• Support during audits and preparation of reports.
• Participation in the optimization and automation of department processes.
• Collaboration with local HR departments to address requests.
• Monitoring compliance with labor laws, health and safety regulations, and group policies.
• Knowledge of labor laws and social security regulations.
• Assurance of full compliance of all payroll processes with legislation, company policies, and collective agreement terms.
• Maintenance of records and data, ensuring they are accurate, up-to-date, and secure.
• Monitoring and control of the time tracking system – Timer.

Requirements:

• A degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Excellent knowledge of English.
• Excellent computer skills and knowledge of payroll software.
• Previous experience in a payroll department within the industrial sector is considered an advantage, while at least 5 years of experience is required.
• Knowledge of HRMS systems such as SoftOne-SAP & Timer will be considered an advantage.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Team spirit, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Experience in audit processes, labor inspections, and collaboration with relevant regulatory authorities.
