Job Description

Company Description

Enero is a collective of boutique marketing communications agencies operating across three service pillars: creative and content, integrated communications and PR, and digital, data, analytics and technology. With major hubs in Sydney, London, New York, and San Francisco, we operate across 13 countries and count some of the world's most ambitious brands among our clients.

Our environment is fast-paced, dynamic, and genuinely fun, but our standards are anything but relaxed. Industry awards line our walls, and our people are the reason why.

Job Description

Are you a Payroll expert with experience implementing new systems?

At Enero Group, we’re looking for a Payroll Analyst to support us with the integration of a new HRIS – Sage People with our payroll system – HR3. This role will be supporting the project from the perspective of HR3, ensuring information is accurate, field sets are correctly mapped and established and there is appropriate error reporting and troubleshooting as we test and integrate across all aspects of payroll.

You will also support the review, recommendations and documentation of our current and future payroll processes across our individual business brands. To do this you will need an understanding of best practice payroll and payroll legislation.

  • Payroll processing: Managing fortnightly or monthly payroll, including salaries, wages, overtime, bonuses and deductions.
  • Superannuation: Calculating and processing superannuation contributions and ensuring they are paid by the required deadlines.
  • PAYG withholding: Calculating tax deductions and ensuring payments are reported to the ATO.
  • STP reporting: Submitting Single Touch Payroll reports to the ATO each pay cycle.
  • Leave management: Managing annual leave, personal/carer’s leave, parental leave and other statutory entitlements.
  • Award compliance: Ensuring employees are paid correctly under the relevant Modern Awards, enterprise agreements or employment contracts.
  • Termination payments: Calculating final pay, including outstanding wages, leave entitlements and applicable redundancy or termination payments.
  • Payroll tax: Managing payroll tax obligations and reporting where applicable.
  • Reconciliations: Reconciling payroll, superannuation, tax and other deductions to ensure accurate records.
  • Employee queries: Responding to questions about pay, tax, superannuation and leave balances.
  • Compliance and reporting: Maintaining accurate payroll records and supporting audits, reporting and year-end processes.

In return you’ll get the opportunity to work with a close-knit, supportive team in a fun and vibrant environment. This also includes a flexible work policy, state of the art office space, dogs at work, snacks a-plenty and a seriously impressive learning and development curriculum to ensure you’re continuously upskilling and growing in your career.

This role does have the potential to extend, depending on post implementation functionality requirements.

If this sounds like a project you can get behind, then apply today before it’s too late!

  • Prior experience establishing new processes and best practices, along with the creation of supporting documentation
