Reporting to the Head of Payroll, you’ll bring your proactive mindset, strong attention to detail and customer-first approach to a team that values precision, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Your day will involve:

  • Own the end-to-end processing of weekly wages payroll
  • Be the first point of contact for payroll queries, delivering prompt, effective resolutions
  • Manage employee lifecycle changes including transfers, terminations and masterfile updates
  • Maintain accurate time and attendance data across systems like Chris21 and Kronos
  • Perform payroll reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Prepare and maintain employee records and documentation
  • Ensure all payroll activities meet legislative requirements, internal policies and audit standards.

What are we looking for?

  • Proven payroll experience within a large, EA-driven, multi-site organisation
  • Strong understanding of payroll legislation, awards and compliance requirements
  • Ability to manage high-volume payroll in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Chris21/ichris is essential
  • A detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and service excellence.
