
Due to an internal move, Babcock is seeking a talented Payroll Officer to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for extension. Based in our Franklin Street CBD office and reporting to the Payroll Services Manager, you will play a vital role in delivering accurate, timely and compliant payroll services to our employees across the business.
In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of fortnightly and monthly payrolls, ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time while maintaining accurate employee records. You will manage payroll-related compliance activities, including Superannuation, PAYG, Payroll Tax and Workers Compensation requirements, as well as support the efficient processing and review of employee timesheets. Working closely with key stakeholders, you will also contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll systems and processes, helping to drive efficiency, accuracy and exceptional service delivery.
