Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Payroll Officer to join our team in a flexible part-time position. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys payroll processing but also has a genuine interest in HR administration and employment compliance.

You will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll while also supporting the business with day-to-day HR administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end payroll processing using Employment Hero
• Managing payroll queries and ensuring payroll accuracy and compliance
• Processing leave, superannuation, and employee changes
• Maintaining employee records and documentation
• Assisting with HR administration tasks including:
• Preparing employment letters and documentation
• Supporting onboarding and employee changes
• Interpreting modern awards and basic employment conditions
• Assisting with policy and compliance administration

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous payroll experience, including end-to-end payroll processing
• Strong experience using Employment Hero Payroll (essential)
• A solid understanding of payroll compliance and award interpretation
• Previous HR administration experience
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• The ability to manage confidential information professionally
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude
