Job title – Payroll Manager Med/CEE

Location – Madrid, Spain

Hours – Full time

· Partner with Finance, People & Organisation (P&O), external providers and project teams across multiple countries, offering significant international exposure.

· Drive continuous improvement by creating controls, governance frameworks, runbooks and escalation processes that support payroll excellence.

· Build, develop and lead the future regional payroll team while contributing to a growing and collaborative European Finance function.

The team

You will join our international Finance team and report directly to the Director of Payroll Operations Europe, based in the Amsterdam office. Working across the Med/CEE region, you will collaborate closely with Finance, P&O, external payroll providers and project stakeholders to deliver a high-quality payroll service. This is an exciting opportunity to influence payroll transformation, support system implementation activities and help establish best-in-class payroll operations across multiple countries.

What we’re looking for

· Proven payroll management experience across Spain is essential with any other Regions in the Med/CEE region being highly advantageous.

· Strong knowledge of statutory payroll legislation, compliance requirements and payroll reporting.

· Experience working with global providers or other large-scale payroll platforms; implementation experience is highly desirable

· Demonstrable experience supporting payroll testing, UAT activities, parallel runs and payroll reconciliations.

· Excellent stakeholder management, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail
