About Korvest Ltd

ASX listed company Korvest Ltd operates as EzyStrut and Korvest Galvanising. EzyStrut is Australia's market leader in cable and pipe support systems, supplying major infrastructure, industrial and commercial projects across the nation from our Kilburn head office. Korvest Galvanising processes structural steel and components for both internal and external customers.

The opportunity:

We are looking for an experienced Payroll & HR Officer to join our People, Safety & Culture team in Kilburn, SA. This role is an even split between payroll and HR administration.

Within our broader team, we have the flexibility, back-up and support to offer this as a full time role or split the functions into two separate part-time roles (HR Officer | Payroll Officer). Let us know your preference when you apply.

Our payroll system (Access Definitiv) is largely automated, however sound, fundamental payroll knowledge is essential to keep it running accurately and compliantly and to complete required reconciliations.

Our HR system (Rippling) provides a streamlined process to support recruitment, onboarding, engagement and offboarding across the employment lifecycle.

You will be well supported in both areas by an experienced People, Safety and Culture team.

Your new role:

Reporting to the People, Safety & Culture Manager, you'll be supporting approximately 320 employees nationally.

Payroll:

  • Processing weekly and monthly payroll for employees and labour hire contractors across Australia
  • Act as the main point of contact for payroll-related matters
  • Reconciliation of superannuation, PAYG, payroll tax, workcover and end-of-month processes
  • Maintain payroll master files and ensure payroll system integrity
  • Support financial year-end requirements and ensure legislative compliance

Human Resources:

  • Supporting recruitment through job requisitions, posting job advertisements and promoting roles internally
  • Candidate screening, interview booking and pre-employment medical coordination
  • Support employee onboarding processes
  • Coordinate labour hire placements including onboarding and offboarding
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and filing
  • Opportunity to develop into a generalist HR role

You will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in a comparable position
  • Sound knowledge of Australian payroll processes including Fair Work legislation, tax and superannuation
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills including Microsoft Excel
  • High level of accuracy in data entry, attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously
  • Prior experience in HR related functions not essential, but advantageous.

Why join us?

  • Salary $75,000 - $85,000 per annum + annual bonus
  • Eligibility for company share bonus after 2 years of service
  • Secure employment in a growing ASX listed company
  • Work in a dynamic, supportive and friendly team
  • Career growth and pathways within a national company
  • We invest in your ongoing development and training
  • Employee referral program, earn $1,000 for each successful referral
  • Charity and community support programs
  • Access to our employee assistance program

Korvest and EzyStrut celebrate our diverse and inclusive workforce. We are driven by a diverse range of thoughts, perspectives and expressions and believe that this is crucial in building productive, motivated and dedicated teams. Through our hiring processes, we look for various skills and abilities as well as how we can develop our company culture.
