About the Role:

An opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Executive position to join out Human Resources Department in Jumeirah Mallorca.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

  • Oversee and coordinate with the external agency to ensure accurate payroll processing. Review salary calculations, tax withholdings, social security deductions, and other payroll components before final validation by the agency.
  • Prepare letters, contracts, certificates, and coordinate documents requiring internal signatures.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations and prepare regular reports on HR metrics and activities for management.
  • Handle confidential matters, ensure compliance with health, hygiene, security, and safety regulations, adhere to HR service standards, and perform other duties as required.
  • Liaise with the Mutual Insurance and Social Security when handling any work-related incidents that require their involvement.
  • Assist in the onboarding, and offboarding processes, ensuring timely and memorable experiences for new joiners and effective off-boarding procedures.

About you:

The ideal candidate will bring the following experience and skills:

  • University degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, with solid knowledge of Spanish labor law and local compliance.
  • Good understanding of the payroll cycle (ADP knowledge is a plus).
  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Leadership and team management capabilities.
