Position Summary:
Four Seasons Heating, Air Conditioning, Plumbing & Electric, the largest residential HVAC contractor in North America, is seeking a hard-working, detail-oriented Payroll & Operations Data Specialist to support payroll processing for our HVAC service team. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate calculation of technician pay—including piecework and production-based compensation—while pulling and analyzing data from our CRM and AS400 systems. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, organized, and able to handle confidential information with discretion.
Key Responsibilities:
Process payroll data for HVAC field technicians, including accurate calculation of piecework and production-based pay
Extract and compile payroll-related data from CRM and AS400 systems
Use Microsoft Excel to perform calculations, reconcile discrepancies, and generate payroll and performance reports
Review service tickets, job data, and technician outputs to ensure proper pay calculations
Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner
Maintain strict confidentiality of employee payroll and compensation data
Prepare regular reports on labor costs, technician productivity, and payroll accuracy
Collaborate with operations and dispatch teams to ensure accurate data flow for payroll processing
Qualifications:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data analysis, reporting)
High level of accuracy and comfort working with numbers and calculations
Experience working with payroll data or compensation structures preferred
Familiarity with CRM systems and/or AS400 is a plus
Ability to interpret service tickets and production data for pay calculation
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
Preferred Experience:
Experience in HVAC or other skilled trades environments
Familiarity with piecework, commission, or performance-based pay structures for field technicians
